"I was looking for tights with a bit more fleece, but not too much. These fit the bill. . i was plenty warm walking in 20 degree windy weather. They do run large, so I wish I had gotten 1 size smaller. I got a medium. They are very long on my 5'1" body. I have not washed them yet, so can't comment on that. I love the zip pocket and wish there was another pocket on the other leg."

They are a super soft material, very comfortable, thick enough to keep you warm but not bulky. I am able to stay warm in buffalo winter wind. Another bonus is that nothing sticks to the material.
