"Bought my first pairs of the Avalanche Thermal socks years ago at Costco. Since I'm not a Costco member anymore I ordered direct from Avalanche to add to what I have. Very warm and cozy. California Winters are pretty mild but concrete floors really transmit the cold so warm socks are still needed. The LL Bean socks I also use are over a decade old and still great but I really like the feel of the Ultimate Thermals."
